ISLAND MUSIC JOURNEYS was conceived in respect to the now popular and ever growing number of acoustic "HOME" concerts presented nationally and internationally. For those not familiar, a HOME concert is one which is set in an intimate environment, such as one's home (living room), as opposed to a larger and less personal venue, presented for the benefit of a small audience, and one in which there may be a more interactive experience between the audience and artist/s, including the opportunity for listeners and artists to mingle and communicate in person.

ISLAND MUSIC JOURNEYS provides the opportunity for a small number of fortunate participants to attend nightly concerts at a historic Bed & Breakfast estate by seasoned world-class musicians on the US Virgin Island of St. Croix. You will be introduced to other national and top local performers who will open nightly concert events. The performances take place within the confines of this exotic, sunny and warm Caribbean Bed & Breakfast in the town of Christiansted, offering first class accomodations (including pool, and secure and beautiful grounds/garden areas) --11 rooms total, spanning over a reasonable and affordable weeklong period. A delicious full breakfast is prepared by an island chef and is included daily for each guest.

Additional and relevant information, including accomodations, air travel, car rental and available transportation while on the island, daytime activities, such as diving, golf, swimming/snorkeling, hiking, as well as fine dining, shopping, etc., is provided to those attending to make their stay a most enjoyable and memorable one. It is designed to be a most fulfilling vacation and concert experience for this small and intimate group of guests. Those musicians/fans that would like the chance to study in private lessons with the visiting artist during the course of the week may do so by arrangement directly with the artist. An island benefit concert open to the island's residents and visitors is planned. This will be an opportunity for guests to meet other talented performing musicians, native residents and artists, Cruzans, and other "like-minded" vacationers.
